The station is ten minutes from almost anywhere in Narbonne. Distance is not the issue — the timetable, the luggage and a train that will not wait are.
Narbonne is a crossing point: the Bordeaux – Toulouse – Sète line meets the axis running south to Perpignan and Spain. TGV inOui services to Paris, Intercités, regional TER trains, links towards Barcelona — traffic is dense and connections are tight.
The station is on boulevard Frédéric Mistral, at the edge of the town centre. Drop-off is in front of the main building; access by car is straightforward, but short-stay parking fills quickly when the TGVs arrive.
Local transfers: station to your home, your hotel, a rental in Gruissan or the Corbières, and back again. Minimum fare €30, quoted firm before departure.
Rail-to-air connections: off the TGV at Narbonne and straight on to Béziers, Perpignan or Carcassonne airport. A common request, and one to book ahead because it leaves no room for improvisation.
Late trains: night arrivals are covered, by prior booking.
