The drive

The A9 runs south between the Corbières hills and the sea, skirts the Leucate lagoon, and leaves the motorway north of Perpignan. The airport lies out towards Rivesaltes, away from the city centre, so there is no city traffic to cross and the journey time stays predictable even at rush hour.

Sixty-two kilometres in about 40 minutes — the same as Béziers, twenty kilometres closer, because this one is motorway from end to end.

The airport

Perpignan-Rivesaltes is the most versatile airport near Narbonne. Six carriers operate here — Transavia, Ryanair, Volotea, Jet2.com, Aer Lingus and ASL Airlines — serving around fifteen destinations: Paris Orly year-round, Lille, Nantes, London Stansted, Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds Bradford, Dublin, Brussels Charleroi, Marrakech and Oran.

It is also the natural way into Narbonne from Paris without taking the train: the Orly link runs daily, and the transfer to Narbonne takes less time than the ride from Orly into central Paris.

How the pick-up works

We collect you wherever you are staying — Narbonne, Gruissan, Sigean, Port-la-Nouvelle or elsewhere in the Aude. The published price is from Narbonne; for any other town we quote a firm price before you book.

On the way back, send us your flight number: the driver works from the actual landing time. For an evening Orly flight, that saves you standing on an empty forecourt.

125 €Fixed price for the journey, up to four passengers with their luggage. No baggage surcharge, no traffic supplement. Payment by card, cash or bank transfer; invoicing available for business clients.

Frequently asked questions

Why the same journey time as Béziers, which is closer?

Because the run to Perpignan is motorway all the way, whereas the last few kilometres to Béziers airport are on a departmental road.

Do you also collect from Gruissan, Sigean or Port-la-Nouvelle?

Yes. The €125 fare is from Narbonne; for another town we give you a firm price before booking, never a rough estimate.

Can I book a return?

Yes, and it is worth doing for evening flights, since the return slot is then reserved in advance. Each leg is charged separately at the same rate.

Can I pay by card in the car?

Yes — card, cash or bank transfer. For companies we can also invoice after the journey.
